When the transformation component is not in a green boundary, then the component is not in a valid state, and you can’t see the sample data and also any updates to the transformation job is not validated .

When you try to view sample data of the component, you get message “Component not in valid state”
To validate all components, right click in empty space in Transformation job and click on Revalidate Job.
This step will validate all the components in Transformation job and you can view sample data and update any components.
